Australia’s Premier Agricultural Field Days
The Commonwealth Bank AgQuip field days are acknowledged as the largest agricultural field days in the southern hemisphere and one of the biggest in the world! Attracting around 100,000 visitors to Gunnedah every year for three days in August, Ag Quip has provided professionals on the land with access to the latest machinery, equipment and services available to Australian primary industry.
The AgQuip Field Days were first held in 1973 at the Gunnedah Racecourse by radio stations 2TM & 2MO attracting 63 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors. Three decades on, the Commonwealth Bank AgQuip now showcases over 3,500 companies and a myriad of agri- products and services, information on the latest in industry developments and initiatives at its purpose built site 6km west of Gunnedah.
For those not so interested in the agricultural side of the field days, AgQuip offers a broad range of other items - from Clothing to fine bed linen, jewellery, travel destinations, educational displays, caravans, camping gear and much much more.
WHEN & WHERE?
Commonwealth Bank AgQuip Field Days will be held Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th August 2010. The AgQuip site is located 6km west of Gunnedah (for driving instructions and maps see MAPS tab)
OPENING HOURS
Commonwealth Bank AgQuip is open to the general public from 9am to 5pm daily.
VISITOR PARKING
Car parking is FREE for visitors to AgQuip with sufficient parking available to cater for large crowds.
Traffic to the AgQuip site can be quite congested with traffic controllers assisting with parking and traffic movements.
TRANSPORT
For those who wish to avoid traffic queue, PUBLIC TRANSPORT is available from the Wolseley Park Coach Terminal in Conadilly Street. Buses to the Agquip site leave every half an hour from 9am and the last bus leaves the AgQuip site at 5pm sharp. Alternatively if you would prefer to be picked up by Gunnedah Radio Cabs our taxi rank is situated in Marquis St just up from the lights or you can phone them on 67420069 for them to pick you up from your accommodation.
VISITOR ENTRY FEE
Visitors to AgQuip can enter the field days FREE OF CHARGE.
I’VE BEEN TO THE FIELD DAYS - NOW WHAT CAN I DO?
AG QUIP RODEO
The annual AG QUIP Rodeo will be held on Wednesday 19th August at the Gunnedah Showground. This family favourite event offers spectacular for all to enjoy featuring saddle bronc, bareback and open bull rides. Bar facilities available.

THINGS TO DO & SEE
Gunnedah is a great spot to base yourself to explore the region - with day trips to nearby national parks including Mount Kaputar, the Warrumbungles and Coolah Tops - a must.
